M.I.A’s new video fro BORN FREE her track from her new album, takes GINGER bashing a to the limit. Many of you who have already seen the video don’t really see the point of why she chose to use such a violent video for her “Born Free” track and to tell you the truth it is pretty far out there, but that’s exactly what ROMAIN GAVRAS is known for (see JUSTICE STRESS VIDEO) What I get from the video is a representation of race, although in the UK Gingers are actually viewed much less favorably than they are stateside, they are used to show racial injustice without actually picking a “race.”
I don’t want to get into it too much into it so I’ll let you be the judge.

Im not going to lie, the girl to guy ratio was at least 5 to 1 at this show but it might as well have been a dude fest because all the O.C. tang was either dressed as Joan Jett or a Hippie. Not saying that those looks aren’t hot, they were way hot 3 years ago but not so much anymore. So obviously my mind was searching for some stimulating conversation.

Luckily a few friends showed up and helped me take the conversation train into Kegel County.

What is Kegel exactly? I’m glad you asked.. but before we get into the definition we have to answer the age old debate is it pronounced “Kay-gel” or “Keg-el?” To be honest, I have no clue and I think this is one of those “Cuzie or Kozie” topics, but either way that is exactly how the conversation started…
Back to the definition…
A Kegel is defined as:
Kegel’s are exercises designed to improve muscle tone by strengthening the pubococcygeus muscles of the pelvic floor. Kegel is a popular prescribed exercise for pregnant women to prepare the pelvic floor for physiological stresses of the later stages of pregnancy and vaginal childbirth. Kegel exercises are said to be good for treating vaginal prolapse and preventing uterine prolapse in women and for treating prostate pain and swelling resulting from benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostatitis in men. Kegel exercises may be beneficial in treating urinary incontinence in both men and women. Kegel exercises may also increase sexual gratification.
Basically, erasing meatcurtains!

Why our conversations went there, I have no idea but as it turns out, one of our friends who was there happens to be a licensed massage therapist (The bald dude in the photo above this paragraph) and he said that Kegels can actually be performed by men and he would show us.. as long as we didn’t make eye contact. As I am always up for a challenge, I asked him to explain exactly what he was doing and they way he explained it was.. simply to “flex your chode” and the benefit from this exercise will help prevent prostate cancer and it will keep your “khram upshtain longer” Again.. nooooooo idea why the conversation went there but Travis helped illustrate how to to a male Kegel to the rest of the art show..

Like I said earlier, Nichole’s art and the conversation were most definitely the highlights of the show and the open bar wasn’t so bad either so why not put up some randoms from the rest of the show?






So that’s it for the show. The whole point of this post was to let you know that KEgel’s are slowly taking over my life and as I have been writing this I have practicing the whole time. Now my chode is cramping and Im hungry for a milkshake so Im going to let you go.. but not without showing you some of the most popular female Kegel devices..

This morning he was found dead in his London home and the authorities are saying it was death by suicide. Earlier this month McQueen had to deal with the death of his mother (Feb 2nd.) On his Twitter account he said he wanted his mother to rest in peace and said, “But life must go on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

I have been close friends with Josh Han and head chef Aaron Habiger for some time now and I must say they can both cook some of the best food I have ever eaten. I have always been a huge fan of their food, and although Josh is now gearing up to leave the crosby to take on a full time job at Bouchon, I am still very excited to cruise into the Crosby and taste the goods that Chef Habiger is serving up nightly. For the first CHEF’S menu of 2010 head chef Habiger went with the surf and turf theme and and made some staple dishes to perfection. I can not wait to go in and try everything for myself….

Warhol continues to be as relevant as he’s ever been. This particular painting merges the most popular aspects of Andy Warhol and his fascinations. The subject is Elvis Presley, one of the most famous American icons. It demonstrates the repetition of imagery. The painting is done silver, his favorite color, it is from 1963, a vintage Warhol year, AND its an original piece. Unlike the artist’s other screen prints, which were run off, sometimes in hundreds of editions, he only made one of the work he called Eight Elvises.
