Have you ever heard of the bands… FOO FIGHTERS, FACE TO FACE, or NO USE FOR A NAME???…. well maybe you have maybe you haven’t… If you haven’t you have definitely missed out on nearly a decade of AMAZING punk/ rock music. I highly suggest you run out and pick up some of those bands albums ASAP… but if you don’t have the money or time to do that… you now have the opportunity to listen to the best of those bands wrapped up into one…..JACKSON UNITED.

Last February we had the opportunity to follow the SHIZ (Mark), and the rest of the crew at Anthem Productions, as they produced JACKSON UNITED’s video for “21st Century Fight Song” at the FOO FIGHTERS STUDIO in Northridge.

I am not sure if you have ever seen what all goes down in order to shoot a music video…but lets just put it this way..at the MINIMUM its 24hrs of straight work.

We started the day off in the early morning at the studio… and since things were still moving a little slow in the studio that gave us a chance to look around and take some photos…

Eventually things started to pick up outside and it was time for Chris (Jackson United’s front man) to get is bad ass biker shots…

Sometimes you need the rest of your band to help you look like you’re going fast!!!

After all the shooting outside got wrapped up… we headed inside the studio for some good ol fashion AMERICANA fun!! Courtesy of one giant ass American flag…

Before we knew it … the set was ready to shoot

But first it was time for a LUNCH BREAK!!

After the group shot..it became time for the solo shots..

While the filming was going on outside…. the SHIZ made sure to squeeze in a video interview with Chris..

After the quick interview we headed back out to the shoot… for some infamous dolly shots…

After all the Dolly shots were done… it was time to wrap the video and call it a day..

$5 for each movie, $5 per disc in a box set. Some of these movies are classics others aren’t. $5 is a good deal regardless. All have cases, and sadly, a lot of dust is on the cases.

Unfortunately since CAMEL was a part of our party at proof bar..we weren’t allowed to take any photos INSIDE that venue…but my fearless photographer took our camera into the CROSBY and MEMPHIS to snap some photos before the night was over (thanks pinche)

Either way it was a fun night and we really can not wait have more partys next year with these guys…

we will always love MUTE 97!!!

DJ AM and Travis Barker are the only survivors of a plane crash outside Columbia, South Carolina. There were six people on board. Both AM and Travis are in critical condition with burns to their bodies.

This kind of hits home for us at fakeRICH considering we’ve done quite a bit of coverage for any event DJ AM does around here, mainly at LAX on Sundays, and not to mention, I got this news this morning on my way home from Long Beach Airport where I just dropped off Mykal.

The other four people on the flight were two passengers; Charles Still, 25, and Chris Baker, 29 and two flight crew; Sarah Lemmon, 31, and James Bland, 52.

It goes without saying that our hearts and prayers go out to the family and friends of those who died, and to the two survivors. We hope that they recover soon.
