FINAL BANANA SPLIT PLUS MORE
By Mykal • Nov 4th, 2009 • Category: BLOG, PARTY, PHOTOSAfter we all hit up the Hello Kitty exhibit at ROYAL/T last Sunday, we cruised over to the Shangri La hotel to catch up with the guys from So Sweet Records for a little bit before we headed out to the very last Banana Split Sunday… Our adventures at the Shangri La hotel set the tone for the rest of the night. Andy from VisualAdhesive joined in on some random 3 person conga line and started motorboating some chicks butt, then as soon as I turned around, Switch was being harrassed by a couple cops. We all had no clue what was going on so we headed out and cruised Santa Monica for a little before we headed out to Banana Splitskies.
Banana Split was ridiculously packed .. and I really wasn’t in the mood to take “party photos” so the ever so creepy Cancun Joey took over the reigns as photographer for the night. As you can see from the photos, I was a little busy doing work, the endless amounts of shots that Hyphy Crunk kept sending my way kept me very busy. Thanks Mark!
Anyways enough of ramblings.. the night was really fun, it was really good seeing EVERYONE in one place and the DJ sets by A-trak, Z-Trip, Thee Mike B, Fashen, and Steve Aoki were all amazing.
Thanks for all the good times Banana Split, over the past 3 years everyone in fakeRICH must have spent at least $10,000 at the bar so I guess you could say you owed us a good time. Although I was very sad that EVERYONE in fakeRICH couldn’t make it out to the last one I still had an amazing night hanging with new friends and catching up with old ones. I think I speak for everyone when I say that this, thank you for the good music, memories and most of all good times. !!!
