Our latest episode of the ABC’S OF LA features someone who Cottrell and I both consider a friend and a mentor. Chris Stamp (Stamp’d LA) took his dream of designing his own line of shoes and moved to LA and made it happen. Not many people can say that and not many people have the work ethic of Chris

Very few people are lucky enough to have artistic talent and a good business sense; Chris Stampd’ is one of them. He started out his company (Sampd’ LA) stenciling shoes and after 3 years, it’s become a must have for sneaker heads across the globe.

I met up with this sarcastic man at his showroom, where he shared some words on how he started his business, what it’s become and where it’s headed. Listen up, you might learn something.

Last year at Project I met up with Chris at his booth and shot some super rare sneak peaks of his Summer line and since you got a little taste of them in the video here are some higher res photos of the goods.

It was a pleasure interviewing one of my good friends for this episode, as you can see it was a little hard to focus without feeling the need to slap him in the face. I don’t know why, but sometimes Chris just needs to be slapped.
