OUT WITH THE NEW.. IN WITH THE OLD!
By Mykal • Apr 2nd, 2009 • Category: BLOG, DESIGN, FEATURESIf you have been following me / us on twitter .. you know how excited I am about my new purchase. It’s not a Mazda, Volkswagon, Volvo, Honda, or Peugeot, its a TOYOTA!!Thats right a Toyota.. a 1982 Toyota Starlet to be exact.

I have been sort of a car nut my whole life, even though it may seem like “all I do is party” … When I’m not out .. I’m usually at home googling the most obscure/ one off Japanese sports cars I can find. Not saying that Japanese sports cars are the best, but that’s just what I’m into. I’ve always been that way, ever since I knew what a car was I knew I wanted it japanese. I know from the photo the car may not look like much, and to tell you the truth, right now, it really isn’t. But I like to look at it in terms of potential, just like the way Alec Wildenstein saw potential in Jocelyn before he married her..
or maybe the exact opposite? You get the point.
Damn! now all I want to do is blog about the crazy cat lady all day … ok back on topic!
The car doesn’t look like much now but its all about potential… In case you still don’t see it, I have provided you some excellent examples of what direction I want to take it:

Ill be completely honest with you guys, this car is not very comfortable, reliable, or quiet and I probably won’t be getting any dates from it but for some reason I really don’t care. Just this morning I had to listen to my dad yell at me for going from two brand new cars to THIS! …according to him, it doesn’t “feet your eemage” I have no clue what that even means, but I dont think I ever want to FEET whatever EEMAGE it is he is referring to. I don’t know what it is about anything old school lately but I feel like Im going through a sort of renaissance with my taste in just about everything. From motorcycles to clothes, and now to cars… if it’s old and obscurely wonderful Ill probably be into it.

SIICK!! can’t wait to see what you have instored..
yeah but mike… flares on an clean bodied starlet are G A Y. if the body is clean, then keep it that way by leaving the body perfect, and just slamming it and fitting some wide wheel under the stock fenders. 13×8 all day.
My favorite car next to John and Quang’s. Purest Perfection
