MAGIC season just wrapped up and this year it seemed as though everything was in Slow motion… including our trip up.
Not only did we start the day off 2 hours behind schedule… As soon as we started to make some REAL progress to vegas, we hit a 2 hour traffic jam on the 15. Yeah some dumb truck decided to catch on fire right before we got to it.

Joe and myself started our trip up with a quick ride up the freeway to pick up the one and only gracie cakes in LA.. and I decided to serenade her with some amazing car dancing skills

Before we knew it… we had reached the small town with a BIG thermometer… Baker… and It was about that time when we heard about the semi truck on fire. We decided that since some truck was on fire, we should explore all that Baker had to offer and see what trouble we could get into around town…It turns out there is NOTHING to do in Baker so we didn’t really get into trouble at all

After we saw all the thermometer had to offer (basically nothing) we headed out to a dirt field for an impromtu “Dirty Baker boys” photo shoot.

Considering this is probably the ONLY town with a Bob’s Big Boy still standing we..had to give him a high five.

After we had our fill of fun in Baker… we decided to hit the road in hopes of the traffic dying down. Unfortunately for us, the traffic didn’t even budge… So we decided to get our Vegas on early and we all played roulette in the car.

… after 7 hours on the road and $50 worth of the best snack food the gas stations in Baker had to offer we reached vegas… And it was time for our night on the town. We checked in at my favorite spot on the strip …EXCALIBUR! and got ready for the night.
